Tmvel Android docking station is a multifunctional device that is capable of charging any Android Smartphone that has a USB Micro connector at the bottom and that makes this cradle universal. This device is a simple charging stand or dock that places your phone in an ergonomic upright position and allows you to charge it as well as sync it with your computer or other devices.
Design
Design wise there are various different models available starting from a regular USB micro connector for multiple phones to specialized docking cradles for various Android devices. This list includes HTC One, Nexus 5, Samsung Note 3, Samsung S4 mini and Samsung Mega 6.2 inch phones. Each one of these has a little bit different design but they are all similar except that micro USB one that has a futuristic wave shape design that is created to be stable and support your device in an upright position without any additional ballasts. This device has a stable two point platform and it has the dimensions of 3 inches x 2 inches x 1 inch (7.6 cm x 5 cm x 2.5 cm) and it weighs only 3 ounces (84 grams) so it is really lightweight and has a small form factor design.
Functionality
Function wise this dock has not that much functionality as it is simply a charging dock for various Android phones and that makes it universal. At the back there is a Micro USB socket that allows to charge up your phone as well as sync it while it sits in this upright position and basically there is nothing more to add as this is it. This is a really simple device but it work as expected and that glared plastic makes a great design peace when your Smartphone is not docked there and charging.
