eHaze HTC ONE M7 smartphone charger is a neat little device that allows you to dock your Android smartphone in a cradle so that it stands upright and charges at the same time. This is basically a charging dock designed specially for HTC ONE M7 smartphone and because of that the phone fits in there perfectly and you don’t need to do any fiddling to adjust it or to get it in the right position to charge.
This charger stand is made from black plastic that has a glazed finish so that the device looks stylish and professional and because of that you will be able to put it on almost any desk and it will immediately fit in that surrounding environment without causing some aesthetic dysfunctions. This charger stand has the size of about 2.9 inches x 2.9 inches x 2.9 inches (7.6 cm x 7.6 cm x 7.6 cm) and it weighs about 8.1 OZ (230 grams) so it is not that big or heavy device but it will be good enough to charge your phone and to break the tension in your charging cable(you know those twisted cables usually move light devices around when you want to position them in a specific place). There are also rubberized feet at the bottom surface so that this HTC ONE charger dock won’t slide around but the docking bed itself is specially designed just for this smartphone and it will work with or without any additional casing so you will not need to remove that case from your device to dock it in place.
This device basically has no additional features or technology built in so it can be considered only a charging station or charger dock but it is not a full fledged entertainment android docking station like others that we have reviewed here. But because of this these manufacturers have created a really small, cool looking accessory that allows you to charge your phone and sync it with your computer at the same time. Basically that charger that is in the cradle bed itself is attached to another micro USB port at the back where your typical charging cable is inserted and the device acts just like an extension to your cable.
You can use this Android docking station for a multitude of application from alarm to social update checking and also just like a desktop clock. You can also set a playlist with videos or just set a picture slideshow to make your workplace feel a little bit more like home and there are of course many other applications where you could use a charging stand like this.
In the package you will get the dock itself, a charging cable and user manual but there is not that much information there because the set up is quite straight forward (put the dock on a surface, plug in the charging cable and slide your smartphone in place).
I can recommend this dock to anyone that has a HTC ONE M7 phone and who wants to charge it while at the same time getting that upright positioning for convenient viewing and to basically support your phone in place. I have found that if you have a dock like this you will much more often put it in place and you will always have a full battery but also the phone will always be in the same spot and easy to find. You can also use this stand if you want to write some text on your phone with a bluetooth wireless keyboard as the viewing angle is just right for activities like these!
